What Eric’s Clients Have to Say

  • -Dr. Christopher Ahmad, Team Physician – New York Yankees

”Eric has a unique and rare ability to connect and relate simultaneously to the player, coach and sports medicine professional and understand and appreciate their needs and goals. He can take complex approaches to performance enhancement and injury management and deliver them in a simple and systematic way.”

  • -Giuseppe Rossi – Professional Soccer Player

“Eric is full of knowledge and is able to adapt to any situation that is presented to him. His body of work speaks for itself. I’ve learned a lot from him and It’s a privilege having him by your side.”

  • -Gray Cook, MSPT, OCS, CSCS, RKC, Author of Movement: Functional Movement Systems and Athletic Body in Balance / Founder, Functional Movement Systems

“Eric D’Agati and his team at ONE Human Performance have embraced and implemented a model that most rehabilitation and exercise professionals only read and hope to have. They have executed the Functional Movement System’s model at all levels of fitness, athletic performance and rehabilitation. In my lectures and publications, I have discussed their near-perfect execution of our model to other professional entities, in professional sports and the US Military. I consider Eric and his staff content experts on the subject of Functional Movement Screening and Assessment and encourage both professionals and consumers to consider them an expert resource in both exercise and rehabilitation. Here’s the bottom line — human performance is changing and you can see it first hand at ONE Human Performance.”

  • -Jerry Palmieri, Strength & Conditioning Coach – New York Football Giants

“Eric D’Agati has been coordinating the Functional Movement Screen for the New York Football Giants for several years. He is very professional and an asset to many of our players.”

  • – Tommy La Stella, All-Star Infielder, San Francisco Giants

“Eric D’Agati has been instrumental in my development throughout my professional career. His focus on both injury prevention and functional strength has been a mainstay of my training and will continue to be so. For every athlete, the trust built between athlete and trainer is hugely important and I’m very fortunate for the relationship that we’ve established and the work we continue to do.”

  • Richard Kassler, NYU Langone Medical Center

“Thank you for presenting such a great course.  Everyone felt they learned so much.  The system really makes sense.”

  • -Kevin O’Neill, Head Athletic Trainer – Miami Dolphins

“Just a quick note to say THANK YOU for your time and expertise in our Staff instruction on Tuesday… We enjoyed the format and presentation and all of us took home good information and answers to assist us in supporting our Strength Staff with corrective solutions for their FMS evaluations… I look forward to staying in touch and hopefully expanding on our foundation with you in the future”

  • -James Karinchak – Pitcher, Cleveland Indians

“My range of motion I felt has always been limited and lacking in my hamstrings. In just four sessions and performing Eric’s movements daily, I went from feet fro touching my toes to inches. I can’t wait to see what my future movement patterns look like and and see how this affects my ability on the mound”

  • Coach James Matsakis, Head Football Coach -Butler High School

“Three years ago the Butler football program was on the bottom of a cycle (0-10) and we were looking to change things around, and that is when I met Eric and was introduced to his style of strength, speed and flexibility training. The past two years we have had a tremendous turnaround, losing to only two different teams during that time span and making the playoffs each year. I attribute a large portion of our team success to the train we received at ONE Human Performance and look forward to continuing our training in years to come.”

  • – Kaci Clark, National Champion Professional Softball Player, NY/NJ Juggernaut

“Not only am I competing at a higher level in my sport, but I feel better in my daily life, as my physical stiffness has decreased and my quality of sleep has improved.”

  • Cary Huggard, Med, ATC, CSCS– Owner/Director, Velocity Sports Performance

“Eric, your delivery and presentation skill were excellent and the visual aids (slides) and supporting material really helped bring it all together. We all commented on how much we liked and appreciated the subtle humor into the lecture components as well as the many analogies that you used to help drive home some of the key concepts regarding the material…We were all extremely impressed with your knowledge, experience and application and integration of the FMS into your professional setting. I will not hesitate for a minute to have you back to our facility to instruct future courses or to recommend you to others for training or as course instructors. Thank you!”

  • Greg Lusardi, Head Football Coach – Morris Catholic High School

“Eric D’Agati’s program for developing athletes has been an integral part of our off-season and pre-season program since 2006. Like most football coaches, our staff at Morris Catholic had a good idea as to how to teach the core lifts and instill the basic concepts of good running form. Before meeting Eric D’Agati, we pretty much felt that we were doing all we could do to develop our athletes. After attending his clinic on how to develop offensive linemen in the spring of 2005, and then hiring Eric to work with our athletes in 2006, it became very evident that we were not doing all that we could do in this regard. The program that Eric has implemented for us has taught us to train the muscle groups used to accelerate and decelerate in a manner that mimics the movement pattern when running, changing directions or shredding a blocker. His program addresses issues regarding strength, muscular endurance, flexibility and neuromuscular coordination for optimal speed, power and ability to change directions. During the cool down phase of his workouts, Eric addresses nutrition, goal setting and the concept of changing one’s perception of what maximal effort is. Eric’s willingness to conduct his program in our school’s training facility has helped to maximize participation while also demonstrating his resourcefulness due to our facility’s many limitations. Over the course of the five years Eric has been working with our athletes, he has consistently come up with ways to vary the workouts, thus keeping interest high, while still achieving the desired goal. The football players at Morris Catholic have benefitted greatly from having been trained by Eric. Inviting Eric D’Agati to become a part of our off-season program is one of the best decisions that I have made during the course of my tenure as head football coach at Morris Catholic.”

  • -Ryleigh White – 2019 USA Today Player of the Year Softball Player,University of Tennessee

“I am blessed to have Eric as my trainer. He is so knowledgeable and always makes sure that I understand the value of each exercise as well as the correct way to execute it. Eric teaches me the importance of stretching and to strengthen my core to prevent injury. He has developed a sport specific program which focuses on my position in softball. I feel confident that Eric is preparing me for my collegiate career!”

  • Jane Barbieri, Head Coach – DePaul Girls Lacrosse

“The DePaul girls’ lacrosse team has trained with Eric D’Agati and his excellent staff for the past few years to prepare for the spring season. I cannot say enough about the players’ positive experience. The results surpassed our expectations and I can truly attribute our virtually injury-free season to the professional preparation that the team experienced. Eric and his staff provided the players with a better understanding of the how and why they were doing what they were doing. He created a workout that was extremely challenging, yet innovative and FUN! I particularly liked the fact that over the course of our training each workout progression had specific objectives and were targeted to improving our efficiency and explosiveness on the lacrosse field. ONE Human Performance tailored a program based on the needs of each individual and made us feel that achieving our goals was just as important to them. They introduced us to a training that we could continue to incorporate into our everyday practices. The team was not only physically prepared, but mentally, as each player pushed her body and worked in a way never thought possible. Thank you for introducing us to a whole new level of training.”

  • -Connor Wujciak, NFL Player, Philadelphia Eagles & Carolina Panthers

“During my athletic career I have played for hundreds of different coaches and used dozens of different training programs. Most were good, some were bad, but very few were great. Eric Dagati was and is one of the great ones. Eric’s unique blend of competence, intelligence, integrity, and dedication are a rare find in today’s fitness industry. Training with Eric took my strength and athleticism to levels I didn’t even think they were capable of and I am honored to call him a mentor and friend.”

  • -Frank Herrmann, MLB Pitcher

“After only a few months of working out, I have already begun to see and feel changes in my body. I truly believe that Eric’s intelligent and innovative approach to training gives me the best opportunity to get to the next level.”

  • Mike Viramontez, College Softball Coach –Marshall, Oklahoma State & North Texas University

“In my time training with Eric, one thing stood out above all else, versatility. I would work out right after a range of different people: an older gentleman in his 60’s, a high school lineman, a college pitcher, an NFL prospect, an older woman in her 50’s, and each workout I observed was different and geared towards that persons needs. The detailed nature of the work Eric put me through in my workouts, was second to none. Not only did he teach me movements, he taught me what’s happening in my body during these movements and why we target certain things. It was the best experience I’ve ever had in a “personal training” setting.”

Feedback from course attendees

  • “Thanks Eric…the course was very informative and it is such a bonus to not only learn things to help your clients, but to pick up ways on improving your own performance as well.  Your expertise in the area was certainly appreciated and above that your ability to deliver it simple.  You are a credit to the industry as I have attended many workshops where the only goal is to demonstrate the proficiency for throwing around some facts and terms picked up in a book, or from somebody else.  After 30 years in the business I still know “they don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care”, and the message is much more real coming from someone who lives it not just reads about it.“

  • “I just wanted to thank you one more time for having us at your facility for the FMS course over the weekend. Everything from your knowledge of the screen and training in general, how the information was taught, and the ease of actually learning and applying that knowledge was extremely professional and educational. I look forward to applying everything I learned and turning our facility into one that runs as efficiently as yours.”

  • “I want to thank you for your contribution to the CNOS Foundation staff development.  The course you taught for us here in Sioux City, has peaked so much interest and conversation.  It is evident that the Foundation performance and training staff is better equipped because of the time they were able to learn from you.”

  • “Thank you so much! I can’t even begin to tell you how much I enjoyed the course this weekend. It’s incredibly useful stuff and you do an excellent job of teaching it. I was also thoroughly impressed with your facility. It’s like a freaking playground! If I lived closer I would be trying to work for you. Thank you again for everything!”

  • “I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for instructing an excellent class. I especially appreciated your emphasis on the system and reasons for your approach versus simply teaching a bunch of exercises – the how is easy but understanding the why allows us to creatively yet intelligently approach the functional issues we encounter.”

  • “I just wanted to say thanks for providing such a fantastic learning experience.  It’s changed my training philosophy and has given me a deeper perspective into something that I “thought” I knew.”

  • “I would like to extend my gratitude for all that you taught us this weekend.  Your delivery of the material made it easy to follow.  The simplicity of the process makes this a very effective eval.”

  • “Thank you for such a great seminar.  Mind blowing, and our clients love it.  Can’t believe how much material there was to cover and we could have went for days I am sure.”

  • “I recently took the FMS course with you this past weekend….it was awesome!  I’m a physical therapist and have been working in outpatient ortho, sports, etc. for about 10 years but have never implemented the FMS into my practice.  I am certified in Graston, Kinesiotaping, and use various manual techniques.  FMS was the missing link in my practice and I am so glad I have this tool to use.“

  • “I just wanted to say what an absolute treat it was to not only finally get to experience the great tools and philosophy of FMS but to also see you in action.  Your incredible knowledge base as well as presentation skills were absolutely inspiring.  I so wish I could have been there the rest of the weekend to soak in so much more, yet I feel with your thoroughness I still have come away with more than I expected.  Thank you!”

  • “I wanted to thank you for leading an amazingly well organized and informative seminar last weekend.  I truly appreciate how well you ran the seminar and how you were able to clearly and concisely you presented the FMS info.  I feel like I walked away with a strong understanding of the FMS and how to apply it. Thank you.”
